Detox waters and ten easy ways to increase water intake

Hello Everybody!
Anybody who is even remotely interested in health and fitness knows how important is it to drink water and stay hydrated throughout the day. While we all know how important it is, a lot of people (including myself) find it hard to hit their daily water intake goal and basically, find drinking glass of water after glass of water a little boring. Or in my case, a lot boring. So I have gathered a list, and recipes, for my favorite detox waters. I personally find it extremely hard to meet my intake goals daily because I strangely hate the taste of plain water. These help me make it through a day, and keep me hydrated. As a small disclaimer, most of these taste like garbage if you make them and drink them right after. I have found that letting them sit/soak in the fridge for two-eight hours helps a lot! The longer you let them sit the more flavor they will have! I recommend making each one the night before you would like to drink it.

Apple Cinnamon Stick
*One large sliced apple
*One cinnamon stick
*One pitcher of ice water

Blueberry Orange
*1/2 cup of blueberries
*One orange sliced
*One pitcher of ice water

Raspberrry Lemon
*One sliced lemon
*1/2 cup of raspberries
*Eight mint leaves (chopped or whole)
*One pitcher of ice water

Watermelon Mint
*Add as much melon as you would like
*Eight to ten mint leaves
*One pitcher of ice water
(add more fruit for more flavor)

Kiwi Strawberry
*Seven to ten sliced strawberries
*One sliced kiwi
*1/4 sliced cucumber
*One pitcher of ice water

Mixed Berry
*Six cups of cold water
*One cup of raspberries
*One cup of blueberries
*One pitcher of ice water

Even with these delicious waters I still find it hard to convince myself to drink the recommend eight to ten glasses a day. Like who has time for that? So after some research, and much needed changes to my daily routine, I have compiled a list of ten things that have helped me increase my daily water intake.
1.) Use a straw - I know that this sound silly/childish, but for me straws always make drinks more entertaining, and I end up drinking them faster.
2.) Buy a pretty ( or masculine) water bottle, that you won't mind carrying around.
3.) Set an alarm for every hour OR get the app Plant Nanny (it reminds you to drink eight to ten glasses a day, and if you forget your plant dies. Grim, but entertaining.
4.) Spice it up with fruit, like the above mentioned fruit flavored waters.
5.) Drink one full cup before every meal, this not only allows you to get one more glass of water it, it also fills you up so you will feel less hungry.
6.) Every time you go to the bathroom drink a glass of water.
7.) Drink two full cups before bed, you might have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, but eventually your body will get used to this.
8.) Compete with a friend. Personally, competition is my thing.
9.) Buy a 64oz bottle and finish it every day. Or use one 32oz bottle and refill it half way through the day.
10.) For every non-water beverage that you drink, drink two full glasses of water.
